Won the French duo consisting of Kristina Mladenovic and Canadian veteran Daniel Nestor won the mixed doubles at the Australian Open tennis on Sunday.
In the final of the first Grand Slam of the season won Mladenovic Nestor and partner on the bilateral component of India's Sania Mirza and Romanian Horia Tico in straight sets 6-3 , 6-2 .
This is the third time that Nestor win mixed doubles title at Melbourne Park after winning in 2007 with Elena Likhovtseva In 2011, with Christina Srebotnik .
After winning today said Nestor (41 years) for his partner Mladenovic ( 20 years), he would like to plan to win the mixed doubles titles with the rest of the remainder of the Grand Slam during the current season .
Nestor said afterwards told reporters: " I was kidding a little bit , but I always tell my friends that my chances of winning the best in the major leagues these days is in the mixed doubles . "
Indian Mirza said after the defeat , " provided a good performance in the doubles , and so it is a good start for the year. "
